Sharing the News
A woman phones up her husband at work. He thinks it is just for a chat, so he starts with, "I'm sorry, dear, but I'm up to my neck in work today and can't talk."
She responded, "But I've got some good news and some bad news for you, dear."
To compromise, he says, "OK, darling, but as I've got no time now, just give me the good news."

Heavyweight tire manufacturer Goodyear is in no way affiliated with Charles Goodyear, the inventor of vulcanized rubber. They merely admired his inventiveness and his process that was so easy to duplicate that competitors simply stole it.
